Juicing: What should I have for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

Postby martinnchow on Wed Jul 25, 2007 2:01 am

I was searching for information about Jack La Lanne's juicer and came upon your wonderful and informative website. I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to find that this is also a Christian Bibically based web-site. Knowing that my body was created by God, it is my job to be a good steward and to look after it.

I decided to start juicing and bought your recommended Hamilton-Beach juicer. A nice machine for an economical price from London Drugs.

I work a standard business schedule M-F 9-5.
I am a healthy and active mid-40's male without any weight or eating problems.

Which juice recipe do you recommend for:
- breakfast
- lunch
- dinner

Do you recommend juicing before or after a meal?
I hear coffee-breaks are good a snack, should I juice?
I usually watch a little bit of TV a night before bed, should I juice?

thank you

Hello Martin ~

We're so glad you "landed" in our site! ... We're happy to have you with us!

There is so much info on this board this can give you all sorts of ideas on what to juice and the "concoctions" we're developed. Keep searching.

In the meantime, here's some quick tips:

Many of us juice for the day, all at once. It's a lot of work cleaning up the juicer more than once a day. Some of the old faithfuls prefer it as fresh as possible but juicing ahead is still extremely beneficial if stored properly. Here's a link to one of my posts on GETTING STARTED. It has a lot of helpful hints.

Here's another link to help the NEW Faster understand a few things before they embark on their journey.

Probably one of the most important topics was mine on the PRECAUTIONS TO WATER FASTING. This link will take you there:

Let me know if you have any other questions that would be of help to you. We're here to support and "love ya up" on your juicing/fasting journey!

Blessings ~ :D Judy
To God be the glory in all that I say and do!
Thank you, Sweet Jesus!
