Anyone else fasting right now?

Postby feolafitness on Tue Dec 01, 2009 10:46 pm

I realize that during the holidays, fasting is not a popular thing to do. I am doing a juice fast between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Is anyone else out there doing any kind of fast (besides Kevin and me!). If you are, please reply, and we can encourage one another. If you're doing a Daniel Fast, be sure to check out my blog:

I'm on Day 12 of a 40 day water fast. I've been writing about once every three to four days over in the journals. Since things have gotten a bit more freer for me hopefully I may go back to writing daily versus writing about each day several days later.

Good luck,

Wow! That's great. I've never done more than 3 days of strictly water. I can't imagine. Is this your first extended fast?

Third. Did 14 days last November and and 10 in April. Last year the first 7 days were water and the last 7 were juice. I think spring was all juice. Check over in the journal section both for this time and for last fall. I didn't write up anything back in the spring.

Over the summer I actually did a two day dry fast. I've thought about trying that again or maybe even three days during this time but I'm still waiting for some of the efffects to pass. I don't like this darn feeling of 'vertigo' or whatever it is. I've never had this feeling before in my life, yet for such an extended stretch.
