Lipomas (fatty tumors) under the skin - any advice?

Postby Todd & Ingar on Sun Mar 05, 2006 6:41 pm

Hi - We are new to the site and absolutely love it!!! We are juice fasting together - this is day 7. My husband has had lipomas all over his chest and arms for about 15 years or so. Does anyone have any advice about how to get rid of them? Some of them are the size of a grape.

Organic apple cider vinegar may help. You can find it at the hfs.

I have a lipoma on my right side about the size of a tennis ball. It is soft and moves. Doc says no real problem. It seemed to appear after an extended (40-day) water fast about 10 years ago. One naturopath suggested caused by pesticides? I use apple cider vinegar regularly (internally) so that doesn't work for me unless you mean to rub in on externally. Anyone else have suggestions?

Hummm...not sure why they appear. I'm sure there could be a number of reasons. I knew a fellow once who had over 40 of them removed from all over his body. It would have been good to figure out why he was prone to them to prevent more from appearing. I do know that you want to be careful how big you let them get as they can push up against nerves that may cause issues. It's never good to irritate a nerve. It's hard to tame! I'm sure you're watching it.
